Lara Rivera López is a Senior Consultant with CSC's Federal Consulting Practice/Strategy Services Group and has over eight years of government, consulting and professional experience. She brings extensive functional experience in HR development, training organizational development and consulting. Her capabilities include communications, change management, problem solving & decision making, teambuilding, leadership development, proposal writing, business process reengineering, and project management. Mrs. Rivera López, has worked with various companies in the private and public sector (UPR, Tour-Coop of Puerto Rico, US Department of State, Litton PRC, US Office of Personnel Management, Accenture) providing extensive professional services in different disciplines to develop solutions that meets client’s needs with a unique combination of expertise in course development and delivery, soft and hard skills training, human resources development, change management, project management, business process reengineering, web and graphic design, and languages. As a former federal employee, she has an understanding of the government working culture and she leverages that knowledge to provide recommendations that meet the needs of the client. She has provided professional services to several public sector agencies including, General Services Administration (GSA), Department of Treasury, DC Government, National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Department of State, the Department of Health ad Human Services, and Intelligence Agencies.

Mrs. Rivera López is currently a Spanish & Linguistics Ph.D. Candidate at Georgetown University. She wants to explore how acquisition of language methodology impacts communication, and how we can create tools to help increase international communications and facilitate conflicts. She holds a BA Degree in Modern Languages and an MA in Translation from the University of Puerto Rico; an MPhil in International Peace Studies from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland; and an MS in Spanish and Linguistics from Georgetown University. Mrs. Rivera López is multilingual (Spanish, French and Russian).
