UPRAA Member,
Thank you for your continued support. We continue with our mission to unify University of Puerto Rico Alumni and Friends Abroad and provide opportunities for educational development, cultural growth, and community service.
The year 2020 was exceptional hard for many of us. Despite these hard times, UPRAA continues to make a difference in the lives of many. UPRAA recognized outstanding individuals for their leadership and contributions to our communities; presented $25,000 in scholarships during an online session with participation from board members, students, parents, UPR faculty, and sponsors; continued reaching out to government employees for contributions through the Combined Federal Campaign; and closed the year with our annual board of directors’ elections.
Our goal for 2021 is to continue our efforts to facilitate educational and networking programs to stimulate direct and active participation in our communities. We ask you to encourage other alumni and friends to join us in our efforts to make a difference. Thank you to all of our volunteers!
