Juan Leonardo Negrón-Díaz

Juan Leonardo Negrón-Díaz was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Juan graduated in 2015 from the University of Puerto Rico (UPR) Río Piedras Campus Honors Program, majoring in Advertising and Public Relations.

Currently, he is pursuing his Master’s degree in Public and Media Relations at the prestigious Johns Hopkins University, where he will graduate this upcoming fall 2017.

Juan volunteers at several organizations in Puerto Rico and Washington, D.C. such as the American Cancer Association, Mary Center, and the American Academy of Pediatrics event volunteers, among others. During his time in the University of Puerto Rico, Juan served as Vice-President of the Pre-Law Society, Delegate of the Honor’s Program, and Advertising and Public Relations Association.

As part of his professional experiences and endeavors, Juan Leonardo was intern at the US House of Representative, Office of Congressman Pedro Pierluisi. He also interned at the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Office of Rulemaking, where he had the opportunity to develop a communications campaign for the Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) regulatory and registration procedures.

After several academic-professional experiences, and upon graduating from the University of Puerto Rico, Juan Leonardo became the Administrative Assistant of Congressman Pedro Pierluisi’s Congressional Office. Currently, Juan Leonardo is the Executive Assistant for Congresswoman Joyce Beatty, representative of the 3rd Congressional District of Ohio.
