Rose Vazquez is an experienced social impact professional with a demonstrated portfolio in the communications industry.

Her areas of expertise include community programs and strategy development, crisis communications, event management, philanthropy, marketing, corporate communications, disaster relief and social responsibility initiatives in the U.S., Puerto Rico, Latin America and Europe.

Previously, Rose was the Vice President of Strategic Alliances & Partnerships at Comunicad, where she led global programs & campaigns, guided partnerships, contracts, and sponsorships negotiations. She led disaster relief efforts and community engagement campaigns in Puerto Rico, after hurricane Irma and Maria in 2017 and the earthquakes in 2020. Her efforts helped develop a multi-phase and long-term strategy to further assist local communities in need and promote social and economic development in collaboration with a network of over ten local non-profit organizations across the island.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Marketing with a minor in Small Business Management and Entrepreneurship at the University of Maryland Global Campus. She is originally from Ponce, Puerto Rico and moved to the U.S. over 20 years ago. She is a graduate from the University of Puerto Rico in Ponce.
